A year-long fellowship in statistical modeling and research mathematics for early-career African scholars, with mentorship from the lab and a funded research project of your own.
The Quantitative Methods Fellowship gives early-career scholars a year to build the statistical and computational skills that let them engage with global research on equal footing — and the time and supervision to produce work of their own.
Fellows spend the first four months in structured training across experimental design, causal inference and data engineering. The remaining eight months are spent on a research project you propose, supervised by a member of the lab and supported with fieldwork funding.
The fellowship is fully funded: a monthly stipend, research budget, conference travel, and a laptop.
Attach your CV and, if you have them, a writing sample and your research proposal. We read every application and reply to shortlisted candidates within four weeks of the deadline.
